Llega el verano, llegan las altas temperaturas y nuestro organismo siente los cambios. Por lo tanto es importante adecuar nuestra alimentación para sentirnos mejor. La misma debe procurar mantenernos bien hidratados y nutridos.

Estos consejos podrán ayudarte a tener un verano más sano y placentero:

- debemos incluir más cantidad de líquidos de lo que acostumbramos a consumir: el calor nos hace perder más agua y hay que recuperarla

- también es importante aprovechar las frutas de estación que además de ser más baratas, tienen alto contenido en agua y vitaminas (ejemplo: sandía, melón, duraznos, ciruelas)

- las altas temperaturas suelen quitarnos el deseo de comer en abundancia y/o comidas con muchas calorías: son ideales las ensaladas solas o con carnes, los licuados de frutas, pastas (incluidas en ensaladas con vegetales)

- para no sentirnos extremadamente satisfechos luego de las comidas, es conveniente consumir porciones pequeñas, con más frecuencia

- los alimentos en verano deben estar adecuadamente refrigerados: esto evitará contaminaciones bacterianas, que pueden ocasionar malestares digestivos

- no es conveniente eliminar completamente el azúcar de la dieta, para evitar hipoglucemias; para ello podemos recurrir siempre a las frutas o jugos de frutas que contienen azúcares naturales

- es ideal que nuestro intestino también funcione correctamente, por lo tanto también es conveniente incluir alimentos ricos en fibra como cereales integrales, frutas y verduras frescas.
